We are delighted to announce that Dr. Alexander Koeberle-Schmid has joined our esteemed team of Senior Advisors.

Born in Germany on Lake Constance, Alexander grew up in an entrepreneurial family and went on to study at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, where he earned his Ph.D. on the topic of « Family Business Governance ». His areas of expertise include owner strategy, succession, advisory boards, family governance, and conflict management.

Alexander’s work centers around the belief that conflict is inherent in family businesses. His approach involves fostering understanding among all parties and developing solutions that everyone can agree on, thereby creating a harmonious direction for the family. He draws on his own personal experience in every case, enabling him to develop strategies that are tailored to each family’s specific needs and to prevent future conflicts from arising.

Since 2005, he has been advising family businesses and entrepreneurial families, and now also as a Senior Advisor to us.
