Frederik Otto, based in London, advises Chairs, CEOs, and Owners of Family Enterprises and Offices on leadership and ownership through governance reviews, executive assessment, succession planning, and leadership searches.
Frederik is recognised internationally for his expertise in modern board leadership and future preparedness, serving as Chair of the The Sustainability Board (TSB) institute that includes the Centre for Sustainable Family Business. Since 2019, Frederik has led extensive research and engagement on board priorities in times of Global Issues. He co-authored over 20 reports, memos, and articles that are widely published and cited including six times in the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
Before joining AvS Advisors, Frederik was a Director at AccountAbility, the longest standing issuer of non-financial reporting standards. He further held leadership roles at The Adecco Group including Global Head of Client ESG & Advisory, and Vice President APAC.
Frederik also is a member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee at Salzburg Global. He holds a diploma in Business Administration from IHK in Germany, and earned the CORe credential from Harvard Business School. He has also completed the Oxford Strategy Programme at Saïd Business School, and the High Impact Leadership Programme at Cambridge University.
