AvS Advisors is strengthening its team with Frederik Otto. From September 2025 on, the expert for board effectiveness and senior executive development will help to build and strengthen the firm’s UK practice.

Based in London, Frederik advises Chairs, CEOs and their leadership teams on preparing boards for uncertain futures, with a focus on board performance reviews, leadership development and board search. Since 2019, he has led extensive research on board-level future preparedness and is recognized internationally for his expertise in modern board leadership amid global issues. His work has been cited, inter alia, by IMD, the University of Cambridge and the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.

Before joining AvS Advisors, Frederik was a Director at AccountAbility, founded The Sustainability Board which he now Chairs, and held senior leadership roles at The Adecco Group, including Global Head of Client ESG & Advisory and Vice President APAC. He is a Salzburg Global fellow and a member of Chapter Zero and the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.
